We grow our juicy and sparkling fruit in the land of the ancient gods, Wakayama.
From ancient times people traveled here on the Kumano Kodo,
which we honor with our orchard’s name.
Orchard CODO was created to grow the most delicious ume possible,
and that is what we use in our original craft liqueurs.
By combining nature’s bounty and human skill
we create products unique to our locality.
The local community and consumers
around the world love them,
and we hope you will too.
Hamada's traditional umeshu is blended with fragrant elderflower.
The full-bodied taste and floral flavors are an enjoyable innovation.

When ripe lemons grown in Wakayama and red wine are blended
they make a crisp liqueur.

We want to energize Wakayama with the know-how we have accumulated through our production of umeshu. As we’ve encountered various fruits being grown here, that desire has only increased. Now, our craft liqueur has flourished beyond our expectations. Using fruit of high quality but deemed substandard according to ume categorization matrices, we have created a product that is worthy of the full value of the ume. This includes the fruit, the juice, and even the skin. This is one of our efforts for sustainability. We want people to know more about the different fruit that Wakayama produces, just as we do about Kishu ume, benefiting both the farmers and consumers. It’s with this hope that we produce a variety of styles and flavors. Loved by the community, fascinating the world. From us to you, and we hope you feel like you’re drinking the orchard.
